The knobs for the kitchen and laundry room.
The bathroom shower in the guestroom. The floor is black and cream marble in a checkerboard pattern. It is covered up right now with paper for protection.
The marble tile for the Master Bath. I got this tile for $4.00 - 4.50 aSq. Ft. on clearance.

Dad found these amazing doorknobs. I had seen them and loved them but thought they would be too expensive, but dad found them for half the cost!

Here is the front of the house this week. I LOVE my front door. It is a dutch door tat can open half way. I can't wait for it to get painted. The garage door goes in on Thursday.

We put the new french doors in today! Here is the new opening to the kitchen/living room. Also, the opening to the living room entry was opened up.

B of M

Dad and I just finished reading the Book of Mormon and now started reading it again. I've talked dad into a 7:00 am wakeup call for reading and praying every morning. He has been a real trooper. This morning we read the 5th chapter of 1 Nephi. We were struck by the importance of getting the plates of brass from Laban, even having the Lord instruct Nephi to kill for them. This is important for all of us to remember, that these scriptures were the only way that Lehi could preserve a testimony of the truth within himself and his children for generations to come. A testimony encourages obedience to the commandments and a desire to KNOW the Lord.
"And we had obtained the records which the Lord had commanded us, and searched them and found that they were desirable; yea, even of great worth unto us, insomuch that we could preserve the commandments of the Lord unto our CHILDREN.
Wherefore, it was wisdom in the lord that we should carry them with us, as we journeyed in the wilderness towards the land of promise."
This world is the wilderness for us in our day. The land of promise is a real, honest relationship with the Lord!

Front of house

This is the high ceilinged roof and front door.
Two guest bedroom windows and front door. That T 1-11 is dry rotted and termite infested.

This is the front gate to the house. It is leaning and ready to come down.

As you walk through the gate, to the right is the trellis covering the sun from the sewing room. This is leaning and falling down.

The widows in the house had a film on them which now looks like the diseased skin of a turtle.

Looking out from the front gate at the garage to the right. The garage is broken and won't open. It is also termite infested.
